	My name is Molly McFarlane Smith. I am a 10 year old, 4th grader in Virginia that wants to help many needy people in Africa who need clean drinking water. A charity called charity: water showed me that many people in Africa have no clean water and cannot find a way to purify it. I want to help! You can also help these people that have no water by donating $20 (or as much as you wish) to the building of my well in Ethiopia. My goal is to raise at least $3,500 by March 31, 2008. Through your donations, together, we will dig a well that will provide clean water for Ethiopians to drink for years to come. Please donate and help my cause! what happens next?

After a well is installed, charity: water partners work directly with villagers, teaching them how to maintain and fix their well and hand pump device, while also conducting basic hygiene and sanitati on classes. learn more >
